Sononym

Sononym is a niche utility for the producer who has "too many samples." While Algonaut Atlas focuses on drums, Sononym focuses on everything—loops, textures, vocals, and sound effects. It uses machine learning to categorize your files based on "Similarity," "Brightness," "Harmonicity," and "Noisiness."

### Finding the Needle in the Haystack
- **Similarity Search:** Found a cool bass sound? Click the "Similar" button, and Sononym will search your entire 2TB drive for every other sound that has a similar frequency curve or rhythmic pattern.
- **Smart Categorization:** It automatically tags files as "Loop," "One-shot," "Percussive," or "Melodic" upon ingest.
- **Sync Playback:** It plays back your samples in sync with your DAW's tempo, so you can hear how a loop fits before you drag it in.

**Best For:** Serious sound designers and electronic musicians who want to rediscover the thousands of sounds they've forgotten they even owned. It turns a chaotic file system into a searchable, intelligent database.
